Die Diagonale trauert um Oliver Testor
Oliver Testor, von 2005 bis 2009 Geschäftsführer der Diagonale, ist verstorben. Wir trauern.
Er übernahm die kaufmännischen Belange der Diagonale in ihrer schwierigsten Phase. Die kulturpolitischen Angriffe auf das Festival rund um das Jahr 2004 hatten zu prekären finanziellen Verhältnissen geführt. Gemeinsam mit der Generalversammlung der Diagonale gelang es Oliver Testor, das Festival unter der Intendanz von Brigit Flos finanziell zu sanieren und erneut auf ein solides kaufmännisches wie organisatorisches Fundament zu stellen. So war es Barbara Pichler 2008 möglich, die Diagonale als funktionierende Kultureinrichtung zu übernehmen. Oliver Testor war bis 2009 für die Diagonale tätig. Sein Vermächtnis wirkt bis in die Gegenwart des Festivals nach.
Nach seinem Rückzug von der Diagonale blieb Oliver Testor dem Festival bis zuletzt beruflich und privat eng verbunden. Vor wenigen Tagen ist Oliver Testor im Alter von 58 Jahren an Krebs gestorben. Mehr hier.
