And there’s a new location on top: Club Diagonale is moving to the Forum Stadtpark and is therefore just around the corner from the Diagonale Forum – how convenient!

OPENING PARTY

Film premiere afterparty with a live concert by EFEU
followed by AYGYUL (live act) and 7abebti

The perfect soundtrack to our opening: live act AYGYUL combines the driving beats of dance/electronic with future pop flow, and then 7abebti will heat things up with empowering diva vibes and Arabic pop. Celebrate the start of the festival with us!

The ideal place to go during the Diagonale from the cosy late afternoon until well into the night. On Friday, Jpeg, Rizmo & Eye-F (Entrance, VIE), on Saturday Rollo Royce (IILW) & Attila (Atropa), the Until Breakfast Club by Cinema Next on Sunday night, and the Awards Afterparty on Monday evening! Be there!


 

CLUB DIAGONALE AT FORUM STADTPARK

Gischt (Liveact), Lain Iwakura and Lake Urumia
11 p.m.

Raw, digital soundscapes, carried by bass guitar, synthesizers and the unique voice of Gischt, transport you into a world of industrial, techno and ambient, which can also be heard in the festival trailer. Lain Iwakura plays college punk and Lake Urumia creates immersive sound experiences with minimalist compositions. An evening that delves deep into experimental sound art!

A club night dedicated to intense, unpolished techno sounds: the pulsating energy of the nineties techno scene meets proto-techno and acid, inspired by Detroit, Chicago and Frankfurt with a special focus on releases by LGBTQIA+ and POC artists!

“Party hard, stay soft” is the motto of the queer-feminist DJ collective Flausch from Graz, who deliver hard bass with a clear message – perfect for the Diagonale Awards afterparty! Put on your dancing shoes!

The festival is accompanied by the awaGraz awareness team. awaGraz is on site at the Diagonale parties in the Helmut List Halle and in the Forum Stadtpark and supports guests and artists in the event of experienced or observed discrimination.
