Birgit Minichmayr
Mit einem Tiger schlafen

Jury statement: It’s hard not to feel a pang of muffle at this high wire walk through the life of Maria Lassnig, whom Birgit Minichmayr embodies in a breathtaking and congenial way, without a safety net and completely without a mask, from childhood to old age, she draws, like the artist herself, painfully under the skin and with the highest intensity, traces on the white canvas, which basically represent our common fate.

Voodoo Jürgens
Rickerl – Musik is höchstens a Hobby

Jury statement: In a wonderful ensemble, Voodoo Jürgens unfolds layer by layer to actor David Öllerer, who brings the story of Rickerl from the Viennese suburbs to the big screen in a sensitive and impressive way. With his respectful and passionate interplay with all the characters, from big to small, he lets Rickerl fight for the life he thought he had lost, creating an irresistible power and closeness.
