Lower Austrian police officer Andrea (Birgit Minichmayr) wants to make a fresh start in the metropolis of Sankt Pölten, and you can’t blame her. The men in town like to drink a lot, and she’s about to divorce her husband. But then, of all things, she becomes involved in a hit-and-run accident, for which, the religion teacher Franz (Josef Hader) surprisingly claims responsibility. Josef Hader’s second directorial work after Wilde Maus proves to be a tragicomedy with a great sense of the typical Austrian anguish.
