The royal train arrives. Princess Margareta embarks. Although the monarchs were driven out of the country when the communists took power in 1947, efforts at rapprochement are now being made. Johannes Holzhausen’s film lets us partake in some deadly serious royal acts, while also taking a look back into history. Old and new Romania become acquainted. What they share: a penchant for artifacts in national colors.
