Gasthaus Adlerhof on Vienna’s Burggasse was “Mister” Stefan’s sphere of influence for thirty-eight years. Director Gabriel Tempea liked to stop by for a beer, cabbage soup, and conversation. An end to the eatery has now become apparent. No food has been available for quite a while, and now the Adlerhof is only open clandestinely. Tempea has successfully created a warmhearted, while simultaneously melancholic testimony to a departure.
