Is it possible to question images, and if so, what would they answer? Antoinette Zwirchmayr’s Fragebogen pursues this question in a cine­matic gaze at an older white man. When the female voice behind the camera begins to pose questions from Max Frisch’s novel “Questionnaire,” in doing so, she interrogates several things simultaneously: the man in the image, the image of the man, and ultimately, herself.
