Edgar Honetschläger embarks on a mythological-philosophical search for new ways of nar-rating our relationship to nature. Assisting him in the process are talking ants, nymphs, farmers, and a narrating donkey who takes human striving on earth ad absurdum. In this way, the film not only finds fresh images for the major crises of our era, but also makes tangible a desire for different civilizational forms and value systems.
