Faruk (Senad Bašic) was a professor and writer in Sarajevo; since the Yugoslav Wars he has lived in Graz. There, he is still an outsider, and is even threatened with deportation unless he can prove that his work makes a valuable contribution to Austrian culture. Now an off-theater group is meant to stage his early work, “The Vampires of Miljacka.” But the rehearsals under the direction of Manni (Andreas Kiendl) and Therese (Birgit Stöger) soon become chaotic ...
