Transgression, unwarranted intrusion – in keeping with its title, the compelling real­animation trespass draws on all of these notions. A man appears to be imprisoned in a kind of ontological space and time. Floundering yet tireless, he performs his daily activities, surrounded by shifting spaces and tumbling worlds. In the end, there is only one enduring element: the filmmaker himself.
