In 2007, the fierce protest of a citizens’ initiative against the building of a concert hall for the Viennese Boy’s Choir rampaged through the Augarten. The “Josephinische Erlustigungskomitee,” dressed in baroque costumes, countered the excavators and builders with resistance chickens and eviction ducks. Doris Kittler’s film accompanies the activists during their creative resistance against the project for the salvation of a bit of shared living space.
