Based loosely on the biography of Mia Hansen-Løve’s older brother Sven who co-initiated the popular Paris Cheers Clubbings in the 1990s: a young man loses himself in music – in the best, and also the most precarious sense. This chronicle of a generation stretches across a span of twenty years, at the start of which, Daft Punk are still two young nerds, and at the end of which, the great era of Garage House with French flair is already history.
