Nikolaus Geyrhalter and his team traveled to a different remote location each month of the year 2000. Each of the twelve episodes is twenty minutes long. Encounters in places far from the urban world, with people who live in areas with extreme climatic conditions: deserts, snow, jungles, ice, mountains, and seas.
