The Haret Hreik neighborhood in Beirut is dominated by Shi’ite Lebanese. The Hezbollah headquarters, hidden from the outside, are also found there. Constructed Futures offers insight into the rebuilding after the bombing in the 2006 Lebanon War and in four chapters follows the path of an ideology that considers architecture as a theater of war where decisions are made about the construction of space, landscape, and memory.
