Film curatorship is the practice of preserving, interpreting and exhibiting film in an integrated manner. After 16 years in this profession, I am asking myself if the exercise was at least partly beneficial. And if there are grounds for an optimistic view concerning the chances of (pre-digital) film being passed on to the (post-digital) future. (Alexander Horwath)
