In the hopes of a profes­sional career, the Armenian weightlifter applies for Austrian citizenship—but first he has to wait. The tactful portrait accompanies the ambitious athlete and his trainer for years, through everyday life and physical and bureaucratic hurdles. Until with participation in the European Championships in Nor­way, it seems his lifelong dream will be fulfilled.
