Mourir à tue-tête shows the story of a brutal rape and its consequences, through to the woman’s suicide. Through added documentary footage, the film creates a connection to other social forms of women’s repression rather than remain limited to Suzanne’s individual fate. The film was discussed intensely and with controversy within the women’s movement.
