Sebastian Brauneis’s feature film debut based on a short story by Clemens J. Setz: a school doctor kidnaps a boy. The mother of a teenager, who is lying in a waking coma, clings to the reliability of call boys. A psychiatrist would give his blind wife the world; and a student writes his number, advertising his sex services, on the wall of a toilet. All are strategies to fight loneliness; possible and impossible. A furious, episode-based film — intense, threatening, and magical in plot and construction.
