Hans Breuer is an unusual character: he takes care of sheep and while doing so, sings Yiddish songs. For several months, the Israeli filmmaker Ronit Kertsner accompanies Austria’s last wandering shepherd as he turns up again and again at the Hungarian border in autumn of 2015 to support refugees. Refugee Lullaby is a film about an unusual way of living, moving encounters, and devoted solidarity.
