The Diagonale’20 was cancelled due to official measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The screaming deconstruction of a waltz in five movements: to the complex-minimalist track “Surge” by schtum, Billy Roisz and Dieter Kovačič create a visual arrangement in which what is heard is simultaneously highlighted and deconstructed, without either of the two movements getting the upper-hand. A punchy ode to the stimulus of the eruptive, the hint, and the fragment—on the visual as well as acoustic levels.
