SPACE DOGS tells of the dog Laika—the first living being in outer space—and her successors in the streets of Moscow. A documentary fairytale, interwoven with archive material from the test labs of Soviet space missions. The exploration of an unknown cosmos goes along with an unusual time-space experience: SPACE DOGS becomes a cinematographic dog’s space, a view of the world from the dogs’ perspective.
