Siaka doesn’t expect to live past the age of fifty. His life, shaped by escape, fear, and humiliation, has already sapped his energy. His experiences and latent racism characterize the everyday life of Siaka and Victoria, a couple living in Vienna. He was born in Gambia, she in Austria.
