Her name says it all: Petra Going (Lizzie Curry Martinez) is on the road. She jumps between hotel rooms and times, from one city to another, and one year to the next. Her mission: to collect experiences that will be uploaded to a database. In Athina Rachel Tsangari’s lively feature film debut, the heroine not only travels the globe, but also a collective memory composed of images, which around the turn of the millennium become increasingly interconnected globally—and in ever more absurd ways.
